POSITION SUMMARY:  Our client, a rapidly growing company who truly encourages work/life balance, promotes a positive collaborative culture, and offers an attractive hybrid schedule is seeking a Senior Manager, Billing and Collections to join their growing organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Cash Applications and Accounts Receivable Teams.
  • Review invoices and credit memos for approval and appropriate coding.
  • Oversee monthly close functions.
  • Provide weekly report on aged receivable balances.
  • Perform monthly analysis of accounts receivable aging.
  • Actively manage capital management metrics and report to management (DSO, aged balances).
  • Review monthly bad debt reserve analysis and assist in quarterly adjustments preparation.
  • Develop and provide relevant insights for internal finance business partners.
  • Facilitate weekly collection runs to maximize capital.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for billing and accounts receivable.
  • Update and maintain B2B customer database in accordance with internal polices and legal/tax regulations.
  • Assist external and internal customers with questions pertaining to billing and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure process documentation and back fill planning including cross training.
  • Develop employees by providing on-the-job training, development plan creation, job rotation, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures relating to accounts receivable.
  • Initiate or collaborate to drive process improvements for efficiency, quality, and/or compliance.
  • Support annual audits and other internal control requirements as needed.
  • Support integrating new acquisitions into corporate billing and receivable platform.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience required; accounts receivable experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented.
  • Excellent administrative and verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong organization and communication skills to anticipate and address business and leadership needs.
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities within a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to learn and flourish in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability including unifying and motivating teams.
  • Focused results orientation with impeccable honesty and integrity.
  • Strong technical experience with advanced software skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); NetSuite experience preferred.
