POSITION SUMMARY:   Our client, a well-respected multi-state healthcare organization, is seeking a Compensation Manager to join their established compensation team. Looking for a relationship builder with strong analytical and research skills with a minimum of 7 years compensation administration experience plus 2 years leadership experience with the proven experience to partner with the business to ensure pay programs are competitive, aligned with strategic plans, maintaining system alignment across pay programs to support talent acquisition, retention, and internal equity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage compensation program(s) administration.
  • Oversee workflow/operations to ensure adherence to appropriate pay processes.
  • Serve as the compensation program(s) strategic consultant for meeting organizational needs.
  • Manage preparation and distribution of compensation program(s) communication and education materials.
  • Manage functions including activities related to staffing such as recruiting, hiring, evaluating performance, and determining compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Manage, lead and mentor staff of 3-4.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum seven (7) years of direct compensation experience required with two (2) years in a leader role
  • CCP designation highly desired
  • Experience as a Human Resources Generalist a plus
  • Knowledge relating to the healthcare industry
  • Change management
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills across the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to coach and mentor others
