Our client is large global company headquartered in St. Louis. They are seeking a Senior Global Compensation Manager, Total Rewards to be a key member of their global Total Rewards Center of Expertise (COE).

POSITION OVERVIEW: Primary responsibilities will include providing data and insight for the development and implementation of the company’s Total Rewards programs with primary focus on compensation. This will include supporting the company’s strategic objectives and offering a competitive advantage as well as creating and driving all aspects of the annual merit and bonus award process (timeline, communications, budget, systems, etc.).

  • Lead and manage the annual compensation planning cycle in alignment with business objectives.
  • Design, implement, and manage compensation structures that satisfy global business requirements.
  • Perform regular compensation benchmarking analysis and develop creative solutions globally aligned to attract and retain talent.
  • Consult and support global business/client groups to manage the job architecture/benchmarking processes, consult on internal and external offers, and handle other compensation related requests.
  • Coach and develop business partners regarding global Total Rewards strategy and programs.
  • Create and distribute training materials and communications to educate HR partners and business leaders on total rewards programs, policies, and practices.
  • Participate in global workstreams on various sponsored projects such as year-end communications and Annual Incentive Plan activities.
  • Provide analytical support including data modeling, preparing dashboards, and working with a variety of data sources to extract knowledge and actionable information from expansive datasets.
  • Collaborate with HRIS/HRIT and other HR team members to develop and implement HR system improvements in alignment with the Total Rewards strategy.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational behavior, HR management or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in compensation.
  • Functional knowledge of compensation and benefits.
  • Experience functioning in a business partner model, collaborating with local, regional, and global managers to advance the business.
  • Experience supporting senior business leaders in large complex organizations with a variety of stakeholders (including matrix relationships) a plus.
  • Ability to drive innovation via discovering new approaches.
  • Track record of developing, adapting, and executing data driven strategies in alignment with the organization’s global priorities, business needs, and financial goals.
  • Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
  • Well-developed skills in project and change management.
  • Capacity to cultivate strong relationships and networks, develop talent, and effectively influence others.
  • Capacity to consistently communicate with clear direction, objectives, and strategic correlations.
  • Outstanding ability to translate complex ideas into simple terms at an audience appropriate level.
